Teachers may introduce planned activities indoors or outdoors. 

Diaper changing and toileting is an on-going process and is done as needed throughout the day. Checks will be done every hour.

A child needs structure and consistency in order to learn. 

We believe a child needs to know what to expect in order to feel comfortable about their surroundings and learning environment. A daily schedule of activities addressing personal needs, learning time, clean up time, quiet time and outdoor activity time is used and posted for parents to share.

We also believe a child has their own inner clock and are each at their own developmental stage. We respect where each child is in their development and work with them individually to help them achieve their next step.

Children at Jacque's House learn by doing and therefore each child has responsibilities. Whether it be by helping clean out the guinea pig cage or setting the table for lunch each child learns they are a part of a family group and their contributions help each other.
